David Albert was one of 5 finalists of the Daily Mail Health Hero awards having been nominated by one of his parents at Great Ormond St Hospital.
The five finalists met David Cameron at 10 Downing St and were later presented with their awards by Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt.
Ron King one of the other finalists, a retired bus driver who has spent 30 years taking cancer patients to hopsital said " I am lucky to be healthy, the least I can do is to help those who are struggling with their health" An inspirational message to everyone who works in healthcare!
